Mike, The updates and listings will be of great help to all Net Controllers, and also to be able to pass on for others to Help, including Amateur Radio News Broadcasts. Thanks for making the job easier for Net Controllers. Chris Wright VK2UW

Very interesting net.I listen to it nearly everyday.
As Rear-Commodore of the La Paz Club Cruseros, I would like to offer our services to participate in your "Boatwatch" program.
You are providing a great service to the maritime sailors. Kermit Goettsche Net Manager, Manana Net 14.340 @ 1900Z M-Sat.
Mike, As a net controller on the Pacific Inter Island Net on 14.315. We are proud to be part of the Great Service that you offer to seafarers. Thanks for making our nets much safer and keeping us updated with your listings.
GREAT SITE, I USUALLY MONITOR SOME OF THESE FREQUENCIES DURING MY SHORT WAVE LISTENING. INTERNATIONAL BOAT WATCH IS TO BE APPLAUDED FOR THE HELP IT GIVES TO MARINERS. BEST WISHES TO ALL LES.ISWL GM-20878 / ILA-0953
Great site, I listen to the net all the time and applaud everyones effort to be of help.
Great web site and swift response time (which makes all the difference) The finding of S/V Nepenthe in the hermit islands a couple of days ago - 1.32 S x 145.30 E exemplified the value. The Mobile Maritime NET - Region 3 South East Asian Waters 14.320 @ 0000 Z , every day( now in its 25the year - non stop, applauds Boat Watch ) For interest we use the term "passage plan" instead of "Float plan" Richard
THIS NET HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR SHIPS AND PERSONNEL.THE COAST GUARD HAS EXPRESSED MUCH APPRECIATION FOR THESE SERVICES.
Wonderful service to maritime community! Although temporarily landlocked in Mo., grew up in Sandy Hook Bay, listened to AM 2 MHZ and 450-500 KHz CW as youth & new ham. Later, as Motorola's Chief HF Consultant, wrote several books on marine HF (install for boat and shore and operations/weather services world wide, etc.), and am a sailor. So the sea and marine radio has long been with me. A volunteer service such as this, that is also effective, can be a life saver and a comfort to sailors everywhere. Keep up good work!

Followed a link on the ARRL site. I often monitor the maritime net on 14.313 looking for old Canadian friends whom I last heard from while they were off the coast of Venezuela a couple years back. Haven't heard from them since and keep hoping to find out something about them - VE3GAA Guy & Anita. Last saw them in Annapolis while they were laid up for maintenance. Glad to see your site. Another friend, WA7DE will probably file a float plan soon as he will be taking delivery of his 46 foot soon. 73, Ed
Found your site via the E Ham site. I Sail a 22 foot Colmbia Sailboat on the Columbia River. Like a place to file Float plans. Great idea. As these notes are written I am thinking hard about selling my house and buying a 30 foot sailboat to live on. Think I could get my Ham station and computer on board. But my two dogs, hum.

Followed a link from the ARRL.org site. Monitor and sometimes check into the Pacific Maritime Net on 14.313 at 0300 Z.
Smooth sailing to all,

I was looking for your net freq.'s Thought I would monitor. KD4YGN
Great work! I found your page from Winlink.org. I will put a link on my home page with my boat info that friends and family would need to supply if they want to contact me through your service. I wondered how I had recieved e-mails from strange places with emergency contact info for friends. Now I know. It took less than 12 hours to get word to that friend to call home and the mesages came from 4 different sources! www.tcls.com
